The concept
After providing a large number of tutorials, Rodhouse is now offering a one-day rodbuilding course throughout France. The idea is simple: rather than learning how to assemble your fishing rod on your own or with a friend, Goulven Dolle himself comes to your home to help you assemble your first rod and help you master the fundamental rodbuilding gestures.
Not only will participants assemble their future tool, but they'll also leave with it at the end of the day!

The organization
To successfully offer this service, Goulven took the time to think things through in terms of organization, logistics and choice of equipment. But he also set up "test" sessions to validate the feasibility of the project!
Once the training has been booked, participants will watch a series of short videos to get a general idea of the basic concepts and gestures involved in assembling their first fishing rod.
Thereafter, the training will take place over a single day:
- First, participants will define the natural working direction of the blank, reamer and glue the grips.
- The drying time will be followed by a coffee break and discussion.
- Next, neophyte rodbuilders move on to the ring-bonding and varnishing stages.
- In the afternoon, while the varnish cures and hardens on the dryers, there will be time for discussion on specific subjects, such as exotic rods.

Logistics
To be able to set up this service in just one day, Goulven carefully considered the solutions that would meet a system of material, time and economic constraints.
As a result, Rodhouse has equipped itself with a truck that can travel all over France, carrying the equipment needed for 10 people.
A high-quality, economical and versatile blank (5-25 grams for 1m85) has been selected, and a set of accessories to dress it up will be supplied to each participant.
All students will then be able to assemble the same cane and perform identical gestures in the same timeframe!

How do I register?
To enroll in this training program, you first need to form a group of 10 people, either privately with friends, or through an association such as an AAPPMA.
Once the group has been set up, it's time to select a location where the group and trainer can be accommodated.
All that's left to do is click on the following link to reserve a date for your training session.

The price
An in-home training course for a group of 10 people, at the end of which you'll leave with a fishing rod and skills at a price you might expect! But it's a lot less than you might think, because it's set at 75 euros per participant!
