In the fishing landscape, it is not always obvious for each brand to present new models every year. Fiiish, which bases its conception and its offer on innovative products also regularly extends its range by proposing new sizes of the models previously launched and having conquered the anglers and the fishes! This year it's the Crazy Paddle Tail 180 that makes its entrance on the scene.
An expected addition to the range
After the success of the Crazy Paddle Tail 150 (15 cm), a model 120 (12 cm) was added a little over a year ago.
Many fishermen, like me, already conquered by the original model and big fan of the Crazy Eel 180 and 220, were waiting with impatience for the arrival of the big brother with a paddle. It is now done.
The same qualities
After the discovery of the lure and when it is put in the water, you will notice that its design is identical to that of its little brother, but above all that they have the same qualities. The lure is very supple, the paddle is reversed and the hook curve is notched to ensure the lureâ??s longevity.
Complementary colors and weights
Featuring the same lead heads as the Crazy Eel 180, the CPT is available in 35, 45 and 55 grams and in complementary colors of blue, khaki, pink and yellow-orange. This varied panel allows for consistent targeting of bass and location in many contexts, whether in terms of depth, current or wind.
The paying animations
When I was using the Crazy Paddle Tail 180, my goal was to be able to offer a bigger bite in areas where the tapered lures were often productive. I was hoping that this lure would be the perfect complement to the Crazy Eel 180 and 220, in the same way that the 15 cm cousins complement each other.
So I animated this model, with success, like its little brother, namely ample pulls (slow or fast according to the mood of the bars) and in linear through the water layer. On depths of 10 to 25 meters, the models in 35 and 45 grams proved to be very effective and adapted.
On the other hand, if I have not yet exploited it in this way, I have in mind a fishing closer to the bottom based on the realization of very small and lively pulls of low amplitude which succeeds me well with the smaller models. On areas with sand eels, this animation often imitates wonderfully these fish and triggers many hits.
