The universal small float rig can be described as a universal rig. It works in both fresh and salt water for stalking marginal fish that feed on plants. These include small roach, rotengles, bleak and mullet.
A rod to the blow, and off you go
A rod, a float, a treble hook, a breadstick and off we go for a relaxing fishing trip. This type of fishing works just as well for pond trout as for mullet and other seashore sauper. Using a 4 to 6 m telescopic rod, you place the 1 to 3 g float on the surface after swinging the line under your arm. Two 1 to 2 g round sinkers are attached before a small barrel swivel.

Plan for simple bread priming
The final leader is very simple. It consists of a 40 cm nylon line with a diameter of between 0.18 and 0.20 mm, to which a n° 14 to 10 black or tin-plated treble hook is attached. The breadcrumbs are fixed in a ball on the hook, compressing them well so that their density becomes fluid.
The station should be primed by throwing about 20 small pieces of bread on the surface, every 5th piece of which is compressed as much as possible to sink and attract bottom-feeding fish to the surface.

At first, wary fish eat the sinking crumb. Gradually, they move closer to the surface layer of water until halos appear on the water surface. At this point, the fish gradually pick up the surface breadcrumbs and their suspicion fades. It's best to opt for starch-rich bread. It's stickier and helps form balls that sit firmly on the hook.
