How sharpshooting works
The angler uses a live echo sounder to visualize fish under or in front of the boat, even when they are isolated or moving. This makes for more accurate tracking.
Once the fish has been spotted, the angler lowers his lure or bait precisely in the area where the fish is located, often vertically, and can observe in real time the fish's reaction to his presentation. A new approach that allows fishing with a more targeted presentation of the lure or bait.
This method allows you to immediately adjust the animation or choice of lure according to the behavior observed on the screen, which considerably increases the chances of success.

The benefits of sharpshooting
- Greater efficiency: By targeting only the fish spotted, you maximize the time spent actually fishing for active fish.
- Observing fish behavior: The angler can see whether the fish is following, attacking or ignoring the lure, and can adapt his strategy accordingly.
- Less intrusion: This technique allows us to be even more discreet and avoid disturbing the fish unnecessarily.
Use and equipment
Sharpshooting is particularly useful for fishing for pelagic predators (pike-perch, pike, catfish, perch) in freshwater, but can also be used to search for other species at sea.
Using a live echo sounder requires a high-performance live echo sounder and suitable equipment, such as a rod suited to vertical fishing or short, accurate casts.

Sharpshooting is precision fishing with a live echo sounder: you spot a fish in real time, present your lure directly to it, and adapt your technique by observing its instant reaction. This method is revolutionizing modern fishing through its efficiency and ability to target the finest fish.
