Second edition of Crouesty Fishing this weekend

The second edition of Crouesty Fishing, organized by Le Mille Sabords and the Yacht Club du Crouesty d'Arzon (YCCA), takes place this weekend, May 3 to 4. An event rich in activities and conviviality, dedicated to recreational sea fishing.

Workshops and conferences

Rodbuilding initiations will be offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings. An opportunity to discover rod design and customization, with practical demonstrations of binding techniques. Workshops led by Rodhouse founder Goulven Dolle.

On Saturday afternoon, you'll have the chance to attend a conference on regulations and the environment, hosted by the Quiberon Nautical Brigade. It's an opportunity to discuss navigation rules, good fishing practices and responsible behavior to protect the marine ecosystem.

A fishing challenge

Although the challenge has been fully booked for several weeks, come and watch the team briefings on Saturday and Sunday at 6.30 am. And don't miss the prize-giving ceremony on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

  • Participants: 43 teams entered, 129 anglers at the start.
  • Run length: 7 to 8 hours per day.
  • Volunteers: 30 mobilized (stewards, jury, shore staff).

  • Minimum sea bass size: 42 cm.
  • Prizes: total value of over ?10,000, including categories such as biggest fish, most fish, youngest team, fair play, and women's team.
