Cancellation of the Nantes 2023 sea fishing exhibition
The Nantes Sea Fishing Exhibition 2023 scheduled for March 3 to 5, 2023 has just been cancelled by the organizers who state that :
" Unfortunately, the conditions are not in place at the beginning of this year to organize a qualitative show for exhibitors and visitors."
A decision which for the moment does not call into question a new edition for 2024, but can we still hope to meet at the Beaujoire to share our passion for sea fishing?
The organizers of the show plan to set up a "steering community" in early 2023 bringing together the various partners, in order to best prepare the future of the Nantes sea fishing show.
Should we be alarmed about fishing shows?
After the postponements of the various exhibitions dedicated to recreational fishing for two years in a row, the future of the various trade shows seems bleak. The economic situation is probably not conducive to the profitability of such events and many brands are now struggling to find their account or even to break even.
This is a disappointment for all the fishing lovers who take pleasure in visiting the shows to discover the new products and share with the representatives of the different brands. Let's hope that this decision does not mean the ultimate end of a fishing show in Nantes and that the other shows planned in France can still continue for the pleasure of many fishermen.
