A triple of quality
BKK's BT21SS treble hook is one of the brand's best-selling treble hooks, found on many hard lures whose manufacturers have chosen quality! Thanks to its straight points and "Needle Point" sharpening, it offers fast, deep penetration even with light striking pressure. The basic version is equipped with the Super Slide coating, which offers incomparable glide in the fish's mouth, again to guarantee optimum penetration! Although it's made from 1x steel, it's no less strong: the forged steel used in the shank gives it a strength more than 20% greater than that of other hooks in the same range.
It is available in a very wide range, from size 18 to 5/0, at around ?10 for a pack of 8 to 4 hooks, depending on size.
UV versions
With their coatings reflecting ultraviolet rays, Spear UVO and UVC, for UV Orange and UV Chartreuse, have an atypical look whose purpose is more than just aesthetic! In fact, the purpose of these paints is to offer high contrast and visibility, even in murky water or at great depths, as UV light is far more present than light "visible" to the human eye. Thanks to this visibility, triple Spear UV paints can be used to target attacks, which is particularly interesting on large lures, especially for pike.
UVC and UVO are available in sizes n°12 to n°1 with the coating over the entire hook, and in sizes 1/0 to 5/0 with a coating that does not include the eye, to avoid extra thickness for passage through broken rings.
Pouches also cost around ?10, with the number of hooks varying according to size.
Assist versions
Versions designed for soft lures, the Assists have the same characteristics as the Spear 21SS and UVO, but with a difference in the alignment of the legs. In fact, two of the triple's three legs are aligned so that it can remain flat on the lure. They also feature two hooks to be inserted directly into the lure, on this same "flat" side, to hold it perfectly in place, whatever the set-up chosen.
The Assist 21SS and Assist 21UVO are available in sizes 6 to 3/0, so they can be used on pike and zander lures of all sizes and models.
Feathered versions
The BKK Feathered Spear 21SS are another interesting variation on the Spear 21SS, featuring natural feathers with shiny tinsel to make lures more lively and target attacks. These voluminous feathers are in perpetual motion, even during pauses when using jerks or other suspending lures, so you can keep on fishing. They are fixed under the eyelet and wrapped in resin to guarantee durability, fish after fish!
This variation is available in two models, one in white and one in red and black, to match the color of the lure, or to contrast with it, or simply to suit the angler's mood! Sold in a pouch of 3 hooks, they come in sizes n°1 to n°8.
BB Trigger UVO
BKK's latest product, or rather assembly, is the UVO ready-to-install stinger.
Specifically developed in collaboration with an Irish fishing lodge for pike stalking, this stinger features two Spear UVO hooks, a spring to secure the lure in the lure and a BB sinker to keep the lure well balanced in the water, like the keel of a sailboat. This stinger is of impeccable quality and very easy to use, making it ideal for stalking big pike with peace of mind.
Sold for ?15 and available in 4 different sizes, from 1/0 to 4/0 to fit lures from 18 to over 30 cm.
