The Gobie Cup 2025 organized by the Fish à l'Affiche association marked a triumphant return after a six-year hiatus, offering young anglers in Saint-Quay-Portrieux a memorable day of fishing and conviviality.

A return for 10 years of Fish à l'Affiche

The competition took place on April 16, 2025 on the Casino beach in Saint-Quay-Portrieux, under a beautiful sunny sky. The event was organized by the Fish à l'Affiche association, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

30 young anglers aged 5 to 14 took part in this fun-filled family competition.

At 1:30 p.m., the children and their families were welcomed, registered and given the necessary equipment (rod, line, bucket, vest). A briefing on rules and species protection was given.

From 2:00 to 3:30 pm, the youngsters fished in the tidal pools between the rocks, rich in gobies.

At 3:30 pm, the catches were measured by the stewards.

At 4:00 pm, the prizes were awarded, followed by a snack.
