A return for 10 years of Fish à l'Affiche
The competition took place on April 16, 2025 on the Casino beach in Saint-Quay-Portrieux, under a beautiful sunny sky. The event was organized by the Fish à l'Affiche association, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
30 young anglers aged 5 to 14 took part in this fun-filled family competition.
At 1:30 p.m., the children and their families were welcomed, registered and given the necessary equipment (rod, line, bucket, vest). A briefing on rules and species protection was given.
From 2:00 to 3:30 pm, the youngsters fished in the tidal pools between the rocks, rich in gobies.
At 3:30 pm, the catches were measured by the stewards.
At 4:00 pm, the prizes were awarded, followed by a snack.

Numerous plugs and sockets
In all, no fewer than 65 gobies were caught by the children, totalling 675 cm, with an average of 10.4 cm per fish. The largest goby measured 22.5 cm.

The 2025 prize list
- Lilou Carré (age 12): 10 catches, 101.5 cm

A collective success
Congratulations to the winners and all the participants. The success of the event is also due to the commitment of volunteers, partners, parents and children. Partners included Le Comptoir de la Mer, Kerfil, Fiiish and Rodhouse, who donated prizes and endowments.
The Gobie Cup 2025 was a resounding success, reminding us of the importance of simple moments around nature, sharing and passing on the practice of recreational fishing.
