The authors
Julia Delvigne and Bruno Duquesnoy are both teachers who live in Haute-Savoie, at the foot of Mont Blanc, with their two daughters. Born on the shores of the ocean, Julia has been exploring the Northern Alps since childhood. Originally from the South of France, Bruno is a mountaineer and photographer.

"As always, hiking in the Aiguilles Rouges massif promises a remarkable view of the Mont-Blanc chain. Of course, the presence of the numerous ski lifts that disfigure the area around Planpraz is regrettable. However, as you go further afield, the mountain regains its serenity and even, once over the Lac Cornu pass, its wild character. And what a beautiful lake this Cornu is, with its deep blue waters surrounded by slabs of reddish gneiss! Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful of this selection... "
