I have tested... / Maria Duck Dive F 190, a formidable popper for big predators!

The Duck Dive F 190 is a popper equipped with an internal mass transfer, which increases casting distances while reducing the force required at the moment of casting. When fishing all day long with such lures, this kind of improvement is quickly appreciated. What's more, when it's windy, as is often the case at sea, the lure remains accurate and casts well, even with a headwind.

As far as colors are concerned, we mainly find those designed for sea fishing, based on silver, blue and pink. However, one reference, the black-based B42H, stands out from the crowd and looks very interesting, especially for fishing dark waters or at night.

Finally, the last point to know is that the lure is sold unarmed, i.e. there are no broken rings or hooks. This means that the angler has carte blanche to put the hooks of his choice on the lure, whether single or treble.

If you choose to rig it with single hooks, I recommend using size n°4/0 or n°5/0 hooks with broken rings in size n°7. In the case of treble hooks, size n°2/0 or n°3/0 is well proportioned.

To get the best out of this lure, don't animate it too strongly, and apply moderate long pulls with the rod low. This will create a net of bubbles just below the surface.
