Percoidae love creatures
The percoidae is a super-family of fish that includes perch and pike-perch from the percidae family, as well as black-bass and sun-perch from the centrarchidae family. All fish in this family are particularly fond of creatures, since they are curious fish that don't hesitate to taste every little critter that passes in front of them. Some fish confuse the creature with prey they know well, a crayfish for example, while others attack a highly vibrating form out of sheer aggression.
Generally speaking, the creatures you use to target these fish are between 5 and 10 cm long, depending on the size of the fish you're after. Slowly animated close to the bottom, the creatures will quickly produce results on these fish.

White fish can also be caught with the help of creatures
Many whitefish can be caught on lures using creatures. Of course, small sizes are used, 2 to 5 cm, to match the type of prey that a fish that usually feeds on algae or insects would be able to eat. The biggest fish that can be creature-fished is carp, which are sight-fished as they forage along the edges.
This technique can also be used on tench, bream or rotengle, depending on the species present in the area. Of course, you'll have to greatly reduce the size of the creature and your leader to target fish like rotengle, which rarely reach more than 30 cm. On the river side, barbel and chub are very good playmates who greatly appreciate the creatures, especially in summer when various terrestrial and aquatic insects become active.

And many other fish are interested in the creatures
It's unlikely that any freshwater fish species over 20 cm long has ever been captured with a creature. All predators can be creature-caught, but, as we have seen, so can the vast majority of omnivores. Catching a trout with a creature is as easy as catching a catfish or pike, since the shape and vibrations of this type of lure easily trigger the predatory instinct. The techniques and animations are totally different, but the effectiveness is no less.
Creature-fishing is one of my favorite techniques, as it allows you to better understand the feeding behavior of certain fish, to better catch them later on.
