The Vertical Net is a landing net from CWC. The net on this landing net is deep, and that's crucial! Too many landing nets still have a shallow net, from which the fish can easily get out. With a deep net, the fish is quickly trapped, making it easier to handle and guaranteeing its capture.

The advantage of a large net is that you can leave a fish in the water while you unhook it or get ready for a photo.

The Vertical Net is 70 centimetres deep, with 30-mm mesh on the bottom and 20-mm mesh on the sides. This design allows the net to sink and take shape more quickly.

What's more, the mesh used is knotless, giving a smooth surface that limits injury to fish.

The landing net head measures 60 x 70 centimetres and folds in on itself for easy transport.

The handle is adjustable in two lengths. The first is 105 centimetres, the second 180 centimetres. To do this, simply loosen a knob and extend the handle.

In the longest position, the neck is less rigid than in the shortest, so you can feel the two sections, but it's still easy to handle and useful to have this length in reserve in certain situations!

Finally, the net can be purchased separately, which clearly increases the lifespan of this landing net, without having to buy a whole new one!

The Verticale Net folds in on itself, making it easy to transport, whether for use in a boat, float-tube or even street fishing.

There's an XL version of this landing net, called the Competition Pro XL, with a head measuring 80 x 85 x 100 centimetres, specially designed to make it easier to land the biggest fish!

The Verticale Net model is ideally suited to freshwater use, making it easy to catch the big fish you may come across, such as pike, zander and carp - apart from catfish, of course.

I had a landing net with a similar design, in terms of handle and folding system, which I really liked. What made me change it was the net, which tore in several places, and my desire for a slightly larger one. So I've found everything I wanted with CWC's Vertical Net.
