The Deeper Quest bait boat is no exception to the innovation of its designers. This top-of-the-range all-in-one model is packed with new technologies, yet remains child's play to use. Let's take a look at the general features that stand out.

Lithuanian company Deeper has just launched its latest product: the Deeper Quest priming boat, available as an all-in-one package.

Deeper Quest

First of all, it's important to point out that this Deeper Quest bait boat is very aesthetically pleasing. It's lightweight and compact. All the accessories (all-in-one pack) fit into a rigid backpack. The whole package is very compact for what it offers in terms of performance. What's more, once you've got all the components in hand, they're really well made.

Range and sounder

The connection between the remote control and the priming boat is via wifi. The range is 400 meters, which is already considerable for a baiting boat. It features an integrated, removable Chirp+2 sounder (handy if you need to intervene) with three detection beams offering wide scan coverage and highly detailed sonar imaging:

  • 7° (675 khz)
  • 20° (240 Khz)
  • 47° (100 Khz)

This type of fishfinder is highly accurate in shallow waters up to 100 meters. In addition, fish can be detected as early as 40 cm below the surface. It also features effective target separation (down to 1 cm).

Batteries

The Deeper Quest has two batteries providing up to 7 hours of autonomy. Once again, the performance is noteworthy. The batteries are cable-less, for quick and safe assembly/disassembly. To remove them, simply open each side panel and pull the battery upwards.

The battery has a button for checking its charge level. Simply press the button.

Batteries charge in 5 hours.

Special hopper (Rig Hopper)

The Deeper Quest also features a special hopper to accommodate a rig accompanied by a stick, a soluble bag... This complements the classic hook-holder. In this way, sensitive elements are kept dry while allowing perfect, precise presentation.

Liquids can be incorporated into this special rear hatch to create an attractive cloud in the water column, for example.

Main hoppers

The Deeper Quest bait boat incorporates two separately controlled main hoppers and can carry 2 kg of bait (1 kg for each compartment), equivalent to about ten Spomb (large model).

Motors

The boat incorporates Brushless technology for high performance and energy efficiency. The motors are also fitted with weed guards to prevent vegetation from being drawn inside. The boat can travel at a maximum speed of 3 km/h.

LED

The Deeper Quest is equipped with LEDs that make navigation easier and provide information on the tasks performed.

In regular operation, the front lights are white, while the rear lights are red. This facilitates visual navigation.

If the front and rear LEDs flash red, this means that the priming boat is performing one of the automatic safety operations:

  • Try to restore lost connection
  • Return to "home" point if batteries are low

The LEDs flash green to indicate that one of the hoppers has been successfully opened.

This state-of-the-art bait boat is light, powerful and compact. It has been designed by and for carp anglers who already use bait boats, but also for those who want to take the next step. The Deeper Quest, with its interesting general features, also boasts a number of specific functionalities which we will develop in a future article.
