How to ship a fragile fishing rod safely?

Once the tube has been retrieved, simply place the rod in it, wrapping it in bubble wrap or paper to prevent it from wandering around in the package.

For larger rods, such as single-stranded rods, the choice rapidly narrows, but remains perfectly reasonable in terms of shipping costs to mainland France.
