There's no need to introduce this great man of modern fishing, who has worked for some of the world's leading brands. The list is long and I've probably forgotten some. He worked for Rapala in China. He designed lures and rods for Illex, including the Freddy lure series. He created the Gomoku range for Storm. He also worked with Lucky Craft, where he was European boss. He has also worked with Mustad for many years. Last year, he created his own brand, Trèfle création. This brand is now distributed by Flashmer, and is in the 2024 catalog. Mirage JT (S) in size 128 and size 161 double-jointed are offered in this new year.
Mirage JT
The Mirage is an articulated swimbait with an impeccable finish. The body has a scale-like livery to reinforce the fishy look. The head has a metallic coating to reinforce the resemblance. The Mirage swims in an S shape on a simple linear retrieve. It lurches, lurching when jerked. It sinks slowly when paused. It features an innovative patented system that enables it to reach long casting distances, the pendulum joint. This system blocks the tail when casting, keeping the lure in line. It also features a tungsten ball mass transfer system.
This lure is designed for all predators, both sea and freshwater, and was originally conceived for tassergal, barracuda and sea bass. A rare feature for a swimbait. As an added bonus, it comes with an interchangeable flexible tail. They come in a bag of 3 spares in different colors: black, red and yellow (size S). There's also an extra tail in the JT 161 box.

Personal opinion
Beautifully finished, this lure has a highly technical design but is easy to handle when fishing. The piston system locking the joints in place is a real find.
