A two-seater propelled kayak
The Hawaii FX tandem is a two-seater kayak, equipped with single-chain stepper propulsion and no reverse gear. There are two comfortable raised seats. A full range of fishing equipment, typical of the majority of the brand's kayaks:
- 2 fixed side rod holders,
- 2 removable rod holders from Railblaza,
- 2 starPorts (accessory receivers),
- 2 miniPorts,
- 4 side accessory rails.
There's plenty of storage space, too, with 3 round hatches and a rear deck with elastic band. There's also a front storage area with elastic net. Like the other models, this is an HV (High Visibility) series, so it comes with 3 lifelines in different colors - black, orange and white - so you can choose your look. It comes with two paddles as standard. This tandem is also equipped with an external rudder, with rudder and rear seat launch controls.
Available in 12 different colors: jungle camouflage, snow, navy, orange and gray. Solid colors: black, orange, graphite gray, paradise blue and 4 new catalog colors: mint, storm, mars and sage. The storm blue is a real beauty.
This float is of course DIV 245 approved and supplied with papers for registration with Maritime Affairs.

Opinions
I had the opportunity to test this kayak this summer in a fishing situation, and it's stable and roomy. The rudder is a real plus on this type of float. There's a single adjustment position for the seats, and the new locking systems make it easy to set up, while the stepping position can be adjusted using the different positions of the stepper arms. Similarly, stepper positioning is made easy by a guide and locking system. Of course, it's easy to stand up in the stepper, as non-slip grip is fitted as standard.

This float will be available from the Galaxy Kayaks website in early 2024, with only a few examples offered to date at a price of 2,499 euros (fully equipped with paddles, steppers and seats). Excellent value for money for this type of product.
