Humber Ocean Pro 650, reliability and performance
We were able to test-drive the Humber Ocean Pro 650 RIB at the Grand Pavois Fishing Show in La Rochelle last September, and we were thrilled.
Measuring 6.50 m long and 2.60 m wide, the Bocage offers anglers a vast cockpit, providing excellent fishing conditions. Under the Bocage's stainless steel leaning-post, this tried-and-tested boat has a 150 L livewell and space for a raft. As an option, it is also possible to add a 120 L livewell below deck. The livewell is particularly appreciated by anglers for storing their catch or the day's catch. Numerous rod holders complete the equipment package, as do an Icom VHF and a 19" GARMIN GPSMAP handset, so you can head out to sea with peace of mind.
The model tested was equipped with the Suzuki 225 CV V6 3.6 L engine, renowned for its reliability, performance and low fuel consumption. The performance achieved by this 6.50 m semi-rigid, 45 knots with 4 people on board, means that fishing grounds can be reached quickly, and the acceleration is more than appreciable for being the first on the hunt, for example.
