Yes, we'll be present at CNPL 2024. Rodhouse is what we call an internet pure player, meaning that we market our brands and products via our website, so it's very important to be present in real life from time to time in contact with our customers. Secondly, Clermont is a show that we love, it's central, everyone goes up or down to Clermont, all the fishing grounds are represented!
How many years has Rodhouse been present at the show?
Well, I've just been looking through my archives, and our first participation dates back to ... 2013, so we'll have been exhibiting in Clermont for over ten years by 2024!
What's the lounge atmosphere like in your team?
The CNPL in Clermont is always a great moment in the life of a team. We live well, we share, we meet up with our friends, the Pro-Staffs, it's in the truest sense of the word an almost indispensable punctuation mark in the life of the group. We wouldn't stay in a hotel for anything in the world, we book several mobile homes and we operate in close proximity, like a group of mates. I think it's an inheritance from my years of competitive sea bass fishing, and one that helps build the group. Clermont is all about waking up in the morning at the campsite in the snow, and having binges in the evening at the mobile homes - I don't think anyone would miss that.
Any memories you'd like to share with our readers about CNPL?
Not easy, there are so many of them... Despite more than ten years at the show, I recently discovered the Clermont-Ferrand breakfasts, and I have to say I won't miss another one!
In 2024, Rodhouse will have something new to show visitors?
Yes, the big news is that we'll have two stands! Rodhouse has this year taken over European distribution of Edge Rods, which are NFC blanks assembled in the USA, carbon handle etc., and we'll have a separate stand to present this magnificent range.
