The Feed Popper
For adrenaline rushes and impressive surface attacks, the popper is a must-have lure for bluefin tuna fishing. The Feed Popper 175 from Tackle House is one of these lures that has proven itself time and time again. Of course it has the ability to produce huge pops, but that's not what you'd expect. In fact, with its sweeping animations, it dives below the surface and produces large bubble trails that make tuna crack. Its little brother, the Feed Popper 150, is an excellent partner on days when tuna are focused on small prey.

Le Crazy 220
Excellent on sea bass, but just as good on bluefin tuna, Fiiish's Crazy Eel 220 has no shortage of bluefin tuna to its credit. While pink is a must on days when the sky is low, blue works just as well. Accompanied by its Strong head in 100 grams you'll be able to fish the water column with confidence.
Nitro slim 150
The Illex Nitro Slim, and especially the 150 model, is one of my favourite models for tuna. Its elongated profile makes it ideal for presenting small-sized prey and it works equally well for both downrigger and linear fishing. Once again, I prefer pink when the light is low, and natural colors such as sardine, sprat or ayu when the sun is shining and depending on the prey hunted. Don't hesitate to cut it back a few centimetres if you want to further reduce the volume of your lure!

Nitro shad 120
When bluefin tuna hunt sprats or sardines, the Nitro 120 or 90 from Illex is an excellent lure. With this species, sticking to the size of the prey is sometimes crucial, and this is the most difficult aspect when casting a small lure with PE10 braid.
The Mad Shad 100 from Madness is also a very good model when you want to match the size of the baitfish.

The Dartspin
The Dartspin from Hyperlastics is a lure I don't take out very often, but it's capable of making a difference when nothing else works. Perhaps it's due to the bright flashes of the paddle or the different vibrations it emits? One thing's for sure, though: this lure can give you a few nice surprises. However, while rinsing is recommended with all lures, it is essential with the Dartspin to prolong its life!
