Scunner 135
Gunki's Scunner 135, at 53 grams and 13.5 centimetres long, is a small hard swimbait. This size is perfect for black-bass and pike fishing, without being too restrictive on the size of fish targeted. What's more, it corresponds to a prey size on which predators focus at the beginning and middle of the season.

The lure is of the slow-sinking type and moves under about 50 cm. It's solidly wired to tackle pike with ease. Strangely, the first hook is mounted on a rolling swivel, but the second is not.

The original broken hooks and rings seem solid, but for the sake of optimization, I've replaced the treble hooks with singles in size 2/0.
A ring under the head allows you to attach a sinker clip to adjust the lure's swimming depth.

In terms of colors, the minimum is respected, with a roach-type color and a fire tiger. The fire tiger is different from what we're used to seeing, and has the merit of giving way to a large chartreuse section, which for me is one of the best colors for pike fishing.

In addition to these two basic colors, gold and zebra colors look interesting.
Use
Weighing just 53 grams, it fits easily on any XH rod. It's the kind of hard swimbait I like, because you can use it without having to bring along a set dedicated to big lures.
This lure is perfect for prospecting shallow areas. It can be reeled in at a constant, fast, low speed, swimming in a fairly tight S pattern. It can also be reeled in as a stop-and-go lure, although it's more suited to linear fishing.
Scunner 175
It's worth noting that the Scunner arrives in size 175 this year. In appearance, it looks very similar to its little brother, but it remains to be seen how it performs underwater, a matter to be continued...

My opinion
Gunki has the merit of offering lures at competitive prices. Once again, with the Scunner 135, priced at 25.95 euros, the contract is fulfilled. I find this lure to be well-balanced, solid, with an all-purpose size, easy to use and non-restrictive.
It's perfect for fishing shallow waters or small environments during the summer season.
