Lindy protective glove
The Lindy glove is used to grip fish directly by the mouth, and thus, be protected from teeth and hooks. Its coating, Super Fabric, protects the inside of the hand, the thumb and the side of the index finger. This coating is also anti-slip and helps to grip the fish.

Use
Before using this glove, it is necessary to wet it in order not to put it in contact, dry, with the mucus of the fish, especially since we touch a really critical part of the fish: its mouth.
For catfish, this glove is just perfect! It allows you to quickly catch the fish by the mouth, without worrying about not touching its teeth rasp.
For species like black bass and sea bass, it is also ideal. It allows you to catch moving fish without the risk of getting hooked. In addition, repeatedly catching black bass or sea bass irritates the thumb, and the glove protects against this inconvenience.
For pike, it is possible to take them directly by the mouth with this glove. It is necessary to pinch with the end of the thumb the interior of the mouth, and not to take it by the edge, not to break its teeth.
This glove is a great help to open the mouth of a big pike and help to unhook a hard to reach lure. However, you must not take them by the gate with this glove, or with any other glove for that matter. For this catch, you must do it barehanded to feel where the hand is positioned.
After using them, you must remember to dry them and not leave them in a pocket, as this will cause bad odors.
Right or left?
The Lindy glove is available in three sizes, S/M, L/XL, XXL, for the right and left hand. These are differentiated by the color of the fabric. Yellow is reserved for the right hand and orange for the left hand.
As for the hand to choose, it is a matter of taste. Before making this choice, you must look at the hand you instinctively use to catch fish. For a right-handed angler, the left glove seems to be the best choice, and vice versa for a left-handed angler.
My opinion
The price of 49.90 euros for this glove is a little high, but between being in the emergency room for a hook in the hand or being protected, I find this investment justified and finally not so high.
Plus, this one is durable. My glove is more than ten years old, it has a few tears from wear and tear, but is still usable! In addition, it allows you to avoid the hassle of using fish tongs or a landing net, a must when fishing from the shore!
