An original and efficient paddle tail
The particularity of the Duckfin Shad lies in the shape of its tail. It is designed to look like a duck's leg, hence the name, "Duck" translating from English as "duck" and "Fin" meaning "fin". Creating a nice paddle tail for a shad may seem simply aesthetic, but this tail has the particularity to emit vibrations totally different from a classic shad.
This is one of the reasons why this lure excels at finding educated fish. The frequency of the tail vibrations is very high, making it easy for predators to spot even the smallest Duckfin models.

Specific colors and materials
The design of a product intended to fish all over the world, whether in the sea or in fresh water, requires a little thought. To adapt this lure to all conditions, the engineers had a very good idea, to create a solid material without restricting the swimming of the lure. To do this, the junction between the body and the paddle of the Duckfin is very thin to allow maximum freedom to the tail. Fortunately, thanks to the solidity of the material, it is very rare to lose the tail of a Duckfin shad on a fish.
Another particularity, this time more dedicated to the sea, is the presence of a very large number of spangles in the "sea" colors. These flakes give the lure a greater rigidity, but above all a better resistance to the cutting teeth of marine predators which only need one bite to cut a classic shad in two. These colors are of course usable in fresh water, especially on pikes with sharp teeth.
The all-purpose lure

The Duckfin Shad is a very effective lure in all conditions, each size and color has its own particularities. You can use it throughout the day, simply by changing the size and weight of the head, to trigger bites from perch, pike and zander.
If I can recommend some sizes, I would choose the 6 cm model for perch, the 9 and 13 centimeters for zander, and finally the 20 cm version for big pike and catfish.
