Today, APRIL Marine serves more than 110,000 customers and is supported by a team of 90 employees based in France, the Caribbean, and Canada. This presence reflects a clear ambition: to stay attuned to the practices, needs, and trends of a boating industry undergoing rapid transformation.
An Anniversary Year Focused on Innovation
To mark this symbolic milestone, APRIL Marine is launching several initiatives for its customers. In particular, the company is launching a referral program offering ?50 in gift certificates for the referrer and a 5% discount for the person referred. This initiative is designed to reward the loyalty of its community and strengthen the bonds among boaters.
Another new feature is a brand-new mobile app, included with all insurance policies, which rounds out the range of services. It brings together the essential tools you need to sail with greater peace of mind, ensure your trips out to sea are safe, and keep track of your boat?s maintenance throughout the year.

Customer relations at the heart of the system
To mark this anniversary, APRIL Marine also hosted several loyal customers?who share the same home port as the company?at its offices in Les Sables-d'Olonne. This gathering provided an opportunity to offer a sneak peek at the new mobile app as well as the APRIL Marine Academy online training platform.
Beyond the celebration, this event reflects a strong commitment to co-creating services with customers and building a community of dedicated ambassadors. APRIL Marine also reaffirms a key pillar of its identity: a focus on customer engagement, aimed at delivering a more useful, seamless, and human customer experience.
A Reaffirmed Ambition
?For 50 years, our priority has been clear: to support our customers at every important moment in their passion. APRIL Marine is committed to safer and more responsible boating, both on land and at sea, by combining expertise, innovation, and a personal touch. ?This anniversary is an opportunity to thank our customers for their trust and to reaffirm our ambition: to continue innovating to simplify and make recreational boating insurance more secure,? said Lionel Boismery, CEO of APRIL Marine.
