APRIL Marine relaunches its Journées Sécurité Plaisance 2026

APRIL Marine, a specialist in yachting insurance, is renewing its commitment to prevention and training at sea with the relaunch of the Journées Sécurité Plaisance. This initiative, part of a global approach to raising awareness of boating safety, will offer three days of face-to-face training in 2026, led by recognized industry professionals.

These events, held in La Rochelle (March 21), La Grande Motte (April 3) and Saintâeuros-Malo (June 5), will welcome over 150 yachtsmen eager to improve their safety knowledge. Participants will benefit from additional workshops on key topics: understanding insurance coverage, offshore and inshore rescue, health and medicine at sea, and safety equipment and outfitting.

In keeping with its commitment to encouraging good sailing practices, APRIL Marine rewards its customers' commitment: any policyholder taking part in a training day will receive a 5% discount on their insurance premium.

Support and education

Launched in 2023, the Journées Sécurité Plaisance are part of a broader policy of support and education. Alongside these face-to-face courses, policyholders have access to APRIL Marine Académie, an online learning platform dedicated to sailing and included in their policy.

By combining training, prevention and support, APRIL Marine confirms its role as a committed player in promoting safer, more responsible boating throughout the French coastline.
