Rodhouse has been renowned for years for offering all the equipment needed to build your own fishing rods. There are countless blanks, handles and guides available, enabling rodbuilders to build their own custom rods. The blanks on offer have proved their worth and are widely validated by anglers. Today, Rodhouse is diversifying by offering a range of hand-assembled rods made in Sarzeau, Brittany, based on its solid experience of over 10 years.
Who are these new products aimed at?
That's not changing: Rodhouse's very essence and reputation is based on rodbuilding. Rodbuilding enthusiasts will remain faithful to this practice and are unlikely to turn to this new series.
However, not everyone is a rodbuilder. For a variety of reasons, some anglers don't dare take the plunge and are frustrated at not being able to fish with a Rodhouse rod.

This new series is entirely designed for them. It is also aimed at anglers who want to get a rod assembled immediately, without waiting.
Discover the Workshop Prodigy Series range of rods
The current range comprises 12 rods. This selection is based on the best blanks available in each category.
Among the favorites, you'll find the Statement range, with the essential Statement 722, 724 and 727. Enough to build up an outstanding stockpile to cover all sea lure fishing in search of predators.

For the tuna angler who immediately wants one of the most reputable rods on the market, he will undoubtedly turn to Black Hole's Giant 6.6.
Rodhouse has chosen the very best blanks for each fishing technique. The other components fitted to the rods are also top-of-the-range, including a carbon handle and Fuji SIC Titanium guides.

Identical rods
With this range of rods, some might say that Rodhouse is going against its rodbuilding ethos. Not at all: be aware that this series is not made-to-measure.
You can't customize your rod, either in terms of color or accessories. For example, you won't be able to adjust the height of the reel seat to your liking.

For all these adjustments, whether aesthetic or technical, rodbuilding is and will remain the only alternative.
