The authors
Yann Davitoglu holds a master's degree in the ecology of continental aquatic environments and is passionate about ichthyology. He is in charge of migratory fish and aquatic environments in the Charente river basin. Bren J. Muus is also a renowned ichthyologist. As for Preben Dahistrom, he is a Danish naturalist illustrator who adds depth to the book with his many illustrations.
