Bull Pop 150
The shape of the Bull Pop 150 is nothing special in itself. It's a popper, and our first attention is drawn to its mouth. The mouth is large and pushes out a good quantity of water with each pull, while producing an audible pop.

What's more, the Bull Pop 150 is quite wave-ready, so it can be used in a wide range of conditions, even in rough seas.
In terms of new features, the lure benefits from "color change" technology, which gives it a different color depending on the angle from which it is viewed, to approximate the effect of fish scales, albeit very discreetly.
The choice of colors available is very basic, and includes the classics for sea fishing, i.e. a majority of colors with a silver belly and variations on the back, such as pink, blue or green.

Another technology this lure benefits from is "wave motion", which in fact corresponds to the grooves you can see on the sides and back.

Their purpose is to emit vibrations, which predators can sense through their lateral line, and thus better locate the lure.
What's more, the lure has a complete stainless steel internal frame, making it extremely strong for heavy fishing, as well as against salt and corrosion. The hooks and split rings are also very strong, to remain consistent with the fishing this lure is designed for, and it can be used, as is, even on very big fish.

Use
In France, this popper can be used for catfish, tuna or liche. Abroad, it can be used on striped bass, trevally, skipper, roosterfish and a good number of marine species, it's very versatile and its strength is proven.
My opinion
Even though its appearance is very basic and classic, the Bull Pop 150 is a good solid lure with a proven track record. It holds well on the surface of the water, even in waves, and it comes at a relatively attractive price. All these good points make it an affordable lure for tackling the biggest predators around the world. Once again, Yo-zuri offers a good reference.
