Saltwater, Berkley's range of Gulp lures expands

News from Gulp

All anglers are familiar with Gulp lures or natural bait imitations. Berkley now offers a new range of saltwater lures and baits. Let's find out what's new and what's hot...

Berkley's Gulp range expands

The Gulp product range was already very broad, from moths to swimming fish and various worms, these attractant-laden baits have often saved fishermen's lives. Effective bait lures, easy to obtain and transport in all circumstances. Today, Berkley, the brand's distributor, is innovating with a new, enriched range called Saltwater.

Salwater, because this new range was initially designed for sea fishing enthusiasts, but needless to say, many freshwater anglers will be able to use the lures or other creatures with success. One of the tricky points was storing the soaked lures once out of their containers, so new packaging has been developed to make things even easier. The Saltwater range now comes in more ergonomic zipped packaging for better storage.

Creatures or imitations for landfishing

The Gulp range has always been used by baitcasters and surfcasters along the French coast. The new products will enrich and bring new solutions to bait fishermen. New Shrimp baits are available in 3 sizes (5, 8 and 10 cm), for use on landings or for tenya fishing. New Nereids are also now available in 5 cm, in this innovative new packaging that's easier to use when fishing.

Gulp Slime, the latest in attractants

The range now includes Gulp Gel, an attractant in paste form to be applied to the various lures so that the fish keeps the lure in its mouth for longer. And a surprising new feature: Gulp Slime! Gulp Slime comes in a jar containing a white powder. Simply place your lure in the jar, close it and shake. Once placed on the lure and in contact with the water, this powder transforms into a mucus-filled attractant that leaves no fish indifferent.
