PFG
PFG, which stands for Performance Fishing Gear, is the clothing range developed by Columbia for anglers. Specializing in technical clothing for outdoor activities such as hiking, Columbia has perfectly adapted its products to our hobby.
The range includes t-shirts, shirts, caps, shorts and shoes.

Aesthetics
There are several versions of this long-sleeved T-shirt. Some are fairly neutral, in solid colors with only the logo displayed on the arm. Other versions are a little more whimsical, without going over the top, with fish-scale motifs here and there to remind us who this product is for.

There are models without and others with hoods. The hood is useful for protecting the part of the neck between the shirt collar and the neck cover, which tends to be exposed. This hooded version incorporates a neck cover and thumbholes for total protection.

UPF 50
The main benefit of wearing this type of long garment is sun protection. Omni-Shade technology provides UV protection with an index 50. The downside of long-sleeved shirts is that they are less breathable than short-sleeved shirts, but it's better than getting serious sunburn on your forearms!

The polyester fabric and Omni-Wick technology make this shirt highly breathable and comfortable to wear. It wicks away perspiration and dries quickly, eliminating the feeling of discomfort.
My opinion
Like the Columbia pants, discussed in a previous article, this is a t-shirt I own in duplicate, because I'm so happy with it. It dries very quickly and is pleasant to wear in both temperate and hot weather. It's a product I'd recommend for use over three seasons: spring, summer and autumn.
