On November 28, 2022, the Commercial Court of Melun accepted the offer to take over the assets of the Rive company made by Mrs. Agathe Boidin representing the AFL Pêche group. The Rive brand, whose reputation among fishermen dates back more than 30 years, has been in receivership since October 12, 2022. This takeover is managed by a new legal entity: Rive Sport Distribution, a subsidiary of the AFL Pêche Group.

A takeover that should allow the Rive brand to relaunch itself quickly and efficiently. In 2023, the range of products will be reduced to meet the demand of the many anglers who fish for pike and feeder. And from 2024, new products will be proposed in the catalog.

The strengthening of the presence of the Rive brand in France and internationally in retailers, in the Pacific Pêche network and on websites will be implemented.

In addition, the Rive brand will again be present at various national and international fishing competitions.

The AFL Fishing Group in full evolution

The takeover of the Rive brand and its network of international agents is part of the AFL Pêche group's development strategy put in place since the takeover in July 2020. This takeover will allow AFL Pêche Group to accelerate the distribution of its own brands such as Frazer, MacK2 and Teos, on these new markets.
