The Pulse Realistic family
This time, we will talk about the Pulse Realistic family from Berkley.
The Pulse Realistic family is composed of 3 different shad models: Perch, Goby and Roach.
The Pulse Realistic Roach is available in 3 sizes. In 7, 11 and 15 cm and in 4 colors. This lure has a wide profile, which allows to have a nice flanking action, a wide paddle also to be able to stir up a lot of water and to have a strong vibrating and sounding signal.
The strong point of this range is that all these shads have an open mouth, which will facilitate the gluing on a lead head.
So, with the Roach model, which I use in large size, in 15 cm, we will be able to fish pikes, of course, because we will move a lot of water. You can also fish for big perch and pike perch.
The smaller sizes, a little more all-purpose, there, we will be able to fish for perch and pikeperch and with the very small size, so 7 cm, there we will rather target the perch.
The Pulse Realistic Perch has a wide paddle as well with a fairly thin tail that will vibrate a little more closely than the Roach. It also has a slightly rounder profile, which will allow it to have more of a wiggle. Personally, I fish the 11 cm size for perch and pike. It's a really all-purpose size.
The 15 cm size will also catch everything. Basically, there is no big size, so you can fish for all kinds of fish.
The Pulse Realistic Goby is quite particular. It is quite interesting because the paddle will start swimming as soon as it enters the water, even at a low recovery speed. It will have a very tight swim, a rather sharp signal. It is very effective on difficult fish, vertical fishing on perch or zander.
A range of products for all types of fish and for all weather conditions
Each Pulse Realistic shad shape is available in 4 different colors. Aggressive colors and natural colors, to fish by all the conditions and by all the shades of water.
I advise you to start by fishing in cloudy weather and in water that is a little bit stung. We will fish with more aggressive lures with more aggressive colors and on the contrary, on clearer weather, where there is a big blue sky, we will use more natural colors. This is a good base to start with.
These lures are available either in bulk or in blister packs, by family.
In the blister pack, we will find four lures, either the Perch, the Goby or the Roach, which are pre-mounted, in the 4 colors of the range.
