Description of the Supernova Fx
This kayak has been specially designed for sea fishing. Due to the shape of its catamaran-like hull and its dimensions, 397 X 85 cm, it is very stable. It is suitable for both tall and short people. The raised seat is mounted on two slides which allows a great flexibility of adjustments. The backrest is also adjustable to be more or less "extended" on the seat. Indeed this position more towards the back brings more comfort to the gesture of pedaling.
The propulsion is done by a propeller system with a ratio of 1/10, with a weight of 7.5 kg. The propeller is driven by a pedal system, instantaneous forward/reverse, without manipulation that to reverse its direction of pedaling. The crankset swings around an axis and is blocked in position thanks to 2 1/4 turns on each side. In raised position, it comes to position itself on a cover which blocks the well of pedal bearing, thus allowing to paddle without being soaked.
Standard equipment
The standard equipment is complete. It has accessory rails all around the kayak that will receive your equipment.

The rudder is operated by a left hand control. The kayak has a large front compartment where you will find the sounding board with a cover, this compartment is closed by a large hinged hatch. There is also a storage space behind the seat, closed by a large hatch, and a rear deck with elastic straps in three colors to personalize your kayak.
The drain plug is located at the front, and on the side there is a paddle holder elastic. Note the presence of moldings with inserts behind the seat to be able to put stabilizers (optional). Moulded front and rear handles and side handles allow an easy carrying. Finally, a lifeline is present all around the kayak for more safety.
Fishing on board
Its catamaran shape gives it great stability. For anglers who wish to fish standing up, a non-slip coating is placed on the bottom of the kayak. The pedal system allows a constant speed which is ideal for trolling. The central cover of the pedals also serves as a lure box.
The numerous equipment options mean that all fishing techniques can be practiced without difficulty. Stability and comfort are at the rendezvous, with a large fishing area.
Return of experience
I carry this kayak on the gallery, upside down, it is balanced when lifted. It gives all its measure during the big outings in the open sea, the navigation with this float is comfortable, average speed, about 5 km/h.
Allow about 50 cm under the hull to avoid hitting the pedal board when launching or sailing near the shore. I take it to the water on a C-Tug sand wheels cart. I equipped it with a Garmin 5CV vivid and mounted the sensor in the place provided, the battery is placed in the front compartment.
