The recessed support
The recessed electric motor pedal support is nothing more or less than a tray, which allows the pedal position to be lowered in relation to the boat deck. This support has its interest with the decked boats, fitted out for fishing, of the bass boat type.

Ergonomics is the strong point of this modification. It allows to keep the leg used to press the pedal straight, and not continuously bent. Thus, the fisherman is well supported on both legs and not in an intermediate position, harmful to the back. This position allows the angler to fish comfortably for hours while standing, and considerably reduces back and leg pain.

This support also allows to have the pedal fixed, it does not walk on the bridge anymore. Thus, it is easy to fix the cables so that they do not end up in the legs, nor interfere with the movements.
