A passion throughout the world

Hervé Thomas, the author, is known and recognized in the world of fly fishing. As an instructor and fishing guide, he has for many years traveled to the most beautiful fly fishing sites. Austria, Bosnia, Croatia, Spain, Ireland, Italy or Slovenia, Hervé has accompanied many clients on European fly fishing trips. He also had the chance to go to Venezuela to hunt down emblematic species, tarpon, permits or other bonefish.
With this experience, he decided in 2012 to devote himself to writing books on fishing after having collaborated for a long time to various fishing magazines. The editions Fil de pêche could take off.
An independent publishing house was born, a publishing house whose philosophy is to enhance the natural heritage, educate and raise awareness of fishing and the environment.
Confidence of a guide... along the water
