When you're sailing or motoring, there always comes a time when you want to fish. But how do you go about it when you don't practice this activity? How do you get the right equipment on board, and how do you handle it?
We called on Finistère-based lure manufacturer Fiiish to explain the basics of fishing to us. Matthieu Guennal, designer of Fiiish lures, and Fred Lavion, fishing electronics specialist at Garmin, did us the honor of sharing their fishing outings with us.
For 2 days, they accompanied us to various fishing spots to show us the techniques and equipment to use. And with their explanations, despite our lack of knowledge in the field, we caught fish: bass, pollack, Saint-Pierre... came to bite on our lures.
