Marc Desage & Christian Dumas Writer and painter in love with fishing

His childhood in the countryside, Marc Desage has kept and cultivated a taste that some would describe as â??Eurostmimmodéréâ? for the things of water and fishing. A fervent defender of artificial fly fishing, he frequented the beautiful rivers of France, then those of most European countries, always seeking to discover the â??eurostmenvers du décorâ?, what lies behind the next meander. As an active member of the eurostmun fly-fishing club, he has contributed to the development and sharing of this ecologically sound fishing method. As a result, his approach to fishing has been enriched by new techniques acquired during his travels, but also thanks to the practice of river and lake competition.

His interest in Eurostyle writing took shape in 2009 when he wrote " L'Accroche-mouche "This book was produced in collaboration with painter and engraver Kizou Dumas. In a very different style, he is also co-author of " The Order of Things "An illustrated novel published in June 2023. In it, readers discover an unusual and unexpected universe, the setting for a series of eurostm adventures in which fishing is not out of the question.

Christian Dumas aka Kizou, studied engraving at the Ãcole des Beaux-Arts in St-Etienne. He has worked as a painter in Tence (Haute-Loire) since 1982. A fly-fishing enthusiast, he frequents the banks of the Lignon, but occasionally likes to meet up with friends in Quebec, Ireland or anywhere else where fishing is possible.
