The Vaucluse departmental fishing federation is opening up fishing on part of the Rhône to all types of fishing all year round. An opportunity for anglers to practice their passion during the closed season.

All fishing techniques authorized year-round

The Vaucluse fishing federation has just announced a new fishing regulation for 2025. Starting this year, the Rhône vif vauclusien, located between KP200.5 and KP248 it can be fished all year round, even during the pike season.

Any pike or zander accidentally caught during its specific closed season must be returned to the water immediately! Any pike caught must also be reported to the Fishing Federation.

First sentinels of the environment

According to the Vaucluse fishing federation, these changes are designed to extend the authorized fishing period, and thus keep anglers as the first sentinels of the environment at the water's edge. Of course, all our warden teams will ensure that these new rules are respected. It should also be noted that the regulations apply to all categories of angler, amateur or professional, and that the Vaucluse Fishing Federation will not tolerate any deviation.
