15 teams and 79 anglers
No fewer than 79 anglers took part in this no-kill tuna fishing competition. Among them were loyal brand customers, members of La Nautique de Saint-Tropez, local Suzuki distributors Nautique Concept (Seagame Sport Fisherman Limited Edition DF250Kuro) accompanied by Hica Boats, the MATT Marine team (Matt No) and Suzuki Fishing Team ambassador Sébastien Mongruel (Zeppelin DF175APX).

Also of note is the first participation of Arthur Jerbillet (white Seagame DF200APX), local Suzuki brand ambassador.
Also locate cetaceans off the marine protected area
The 15 teams set off at dawn for the predefined fishing zone, under the authority of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez to ensure the safety of all participants and take the necessary measures.
For the second year, the Communauté de Commune de Saint-Tropez had entrusted participants with the mission of helping locate cetaceans off the Natura 2000 marine protected area: fin whales, sperm whales, bottlenose dolphins, Risso's dolphins, white and blue dolphins, as well as loggerhead turtles.

In fact, a superb school of pilot whales and dolphins were observed at length by some fishermen. It's also worth noting that a lot of abandoned floating garbage (buoys, inflatable mattresses, nets, etc.) was spotted and immediately collected by the participants.
The Suzuki Clean Ocean Project Trophy was awarded to the crews who collected the most visible fish. In all, 13 fish were netted and released. Another great day of sharing on this stage of the Master Fishing de Saint-Tropez.
