The Spinner flex in detail
The Delalande spinner flex is a spinner bait which exists in 3 different weights: 10 âeuros 14 and 21 g. It has a strong iron hook on which is fixed a skirt with various possible finishes, of which the craw (with crayfish claws), frog (with frog legs) and trailer (with a longer skirt) models come to replace the traditional skirts.
These skirts exist in a dozen different colors, sold with the matching head, they are interchangeable, which allows according to the tastes of the fisherman, to match or on the contrary to contrast the colors of the head and the skirt.
This is a dual palette spinner with a gold and silver palette to increase the contrast and visual appeal of it.
Its first big advantage is that it has a fixed eyelet, which allows it to be used with a staple without the risk of it slipping and preventing the spinner from swimming. This fixed eyelet eliminates the need for the angler to have a stock of small rubber bands to lock the staples or staple knots on the metal frames.
The last point, the most important and innovative, is that the frame is not rigid but flexible, hence the name "Flex" Spinner. The armature is in fact a sheathed flexible metal cable, which offers many advantages.

The first big advantage of this flexible frame is the fact that the fish can't take hold during the fight. In fact, once the rod is correctly cast and tensioned, it is almost impossible to unhook a fish with a spinner flex thanks to the spring effect of the frame, which does not deform despite its flexibility.

Slower fishing:
The two large paddles of the spinner flex, coupled with the soft armature, allow it to swim at very low speed, which is sometimes essential, especially for winter fishing when the fish are less active.

Better passage through the grass beds:
Once again, thanks to its flexible frame, the spinner flex can pass through weed beds more easily. Indeed, when it enters a weed bed, a simple dry pull allows to fold it and to extract it easily.

Better bite on the big fish
The flex spinner's frame will not come to rest in the fish's mouth when the lure is cast. It will simply bend, allowing the hook to lodge perfectly when striking, whereas most spinners tend to turn under the stress of the mouth and come out at this precise moment.
Small precision on the resistance of the frame
Available for several years on the market, the flex spinner has evolved a lot and has especially been improved. Indeed, on the first models, it happened that a weakness was created at the junction between the head and the frame after several dozen fish, a weakness that ended up breaking.
Following some constructive feedback from fishermen, the Delalande company has changed its product by correcting this problem and no more breakage is to be reported on the new models. In store, to easily identify if it is the old or the new model, it is very simple, the new ones have a painted head of the color matched to the skirt, whereas the old ones had a raw head, lead color.
