Jean-Noël Schmitz has been fishing since he was 6 years old. His first fish was a trout caught in a pond in the Massif Central. He saw it as huge, even though it was barely 30 centimeters long. Since then, he has been involved in many different techniques, both in fresh water and in the sea. But his field of expertise is the feeder and the fishing of specimens, both in rivers and in calm waters.
He has been competing in feeder for a few years and has had the pleasure of qualifying for the international selection B 2022 in Belgium (by the way, yes, he is Belgian, from Liege). He develops his feeder equipment, for pleasure, is also a pro rod setter and he loves to build bassrods. This activity has led him to modify his feeder rods, in order to adapt them to his fishing and get the most out of them. It is in these matters that he will intervene here, do not hesitate to ask him your questions!
