28 brand teams already registered
While 26 brands were registered for Grand Pavois Fishing 2023 on the same date, by early June 2024 there were already 28 Teams registered. A real success for this new edition of Grand Pavois Fishing 2024 and its Fishing Area at Grand Pavois La Rochelle, with 35 boats expected! It should be noted that the Grand Pavois Fishing will not be able to welcome more than 35 Teams for this 2024 edition, as the fishing zone does not allow more boats in the area to be able to fish serenely, and the organization is unable to enhance the presence of the Teams as it should with more Teams registered.

A unique brand competition
Grand Pavois Fishing is the only competition reserved for brands! It's a unique concept, and the boat, engine and equipment brands are not mistaken: the Fishing & Grand Pavois Fishing Area is a must for presenting the latest boats, engines and equipment (deck fittings, electronics, various materials...). What's more, pro-staffs, fishing guides and brand members are on hand both on the water and on land, to share with enthusiasts the benefits of the products on display, their passions and their techniques...

Who will succeed the top three in 2023?
As a reminder, it will be the 2nd round of 2023 that will change the final standings and crown the Suzuki Fishing Team 2 with 333 points. Tony Palermo, Claude Jubert and Damien Pichon finished 3rd and 2nd in the two heats, putting them one fish ahead of Yamaha âeuros Navicom with Xavier Rigollet, Boris Moreau and Benjamin Moreau. The winning Team 2022 finished 2nd in this edition with 300 points, with the Suzuki Fishing Team 1 of Sébastien Mongruel, JérÃ'me Taboulet and Sébastien Gaillard following in their wake to finish 3rd with 231 points.
Shimano France with Goulven Crehan, Quentin Rothe and Thibault Petit, thanks to a superb quota on the second day, finished 4th, one point behind 3rd with 230 points. Inox du Bocage 1 with Nicolas Jeanne, Stéphane Caillère and Olivier Boar was 5th with 227 points. Only 4 points separate 3rd from 5th... Incredible! In the end, 25 boats were classified out of the 32 entered. A total of 63 sea bass were counted in mesh (editor's note: the legal mesh size for sea bass and speckled bass is 42 cm), representing a total of 2979 points or centimetres, or almost 29.80 metres of sea bass caught and released as quickly as possible on the fishing grounds.

Among the new features for this 2024 edition, the second round of the Grand Pavois Fishing will be broadcast live, notably on the show's giant screen, as well as live on various social networks. 12 cameras will be on board, 10 on competitor boats with cameramen, a tenth camera on board with cameraman and a presenter on one of the organizing boats, to interview the various participants. Last but not least, a TV studio ashore at the Espace Pêche & Grand Pavois Fishing (the Grand Pavois Fishing stage), presented and hosted by Frédéric Brilloux, will be based on commentary by the presenter at sea, as well as on-board footage and on-shore footage produced using the same equipment as every year.
